Crockpot Hot Wing Recipe

Hi, Daisies!

Today is National Tailgaiting Day, and what is one thing that is common at any tailgating party? Hot wings. Now I am not a hot wing fan, (I'm not a fan of anything that's hot really), but I know that there are many people out there who love it and want to share a recipe with you! Another reason I chose to do hot wings, is because when you think of chicken wings, you think of buffalo or something hot on them.

Ingredients

  • 4 lbs Chicken Wing Drummets, Frozen

  • 1 cup Buffalo sauce (Franks is recommended)

  • 2 tbsp Unsalted Butter

  • 6 tbsp Honey

Directions

  1. In 5 qt slow cooker on low add in the Buffalo Sauce, Butter, and Honey. Stir together the ingredients until fully mixed.

  2. Add in the chicken wings and stir until they are all fully coated in the sauce.

  3. Cook the wings and sauce on low for 6-8 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours.

  4. Remove the wings from the crockpot and place them on a foil-lined baking sheet.

  5. Coat/drizzle the sauce from the crockpot onto the wings.

  6. Set the oven to broil and bake the wings for 2-4 minuets.

  7. Serve with ranch or blue cheese and enjoy!

I hope you enjoyed this recipe, and be sure to head over to our FB page and let us know your favorite tailgate food!
