Bacon Cheeseburger Recipe

Hi, Daisies,

So next week, on Friday, September 18th, is National Cheeseburger Day. What better way to celebrate, than with a recipe! Burgers are an American pastime, and what better way to add to it than with some bacon! I hope that you enjoy this recipe, and am excited to see what you create!

This recipe is made for 4 servings, so double the measurements if needed!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 4 oz cheddar cheese (shredded or cubed)

  • 6 slices cooked bacon

  • salt & pepper

  • garlic powder (sometimes i also use paprika and onion powder)

  • Buns

  • Any toppings and/or condiments (suggested: mayo, garlic mayo, BBQ, ketchup, mustard, onion, grilled onions, tomatoes, fried egg, lettuce, pickles)

Directions

  1. Mix together the ground beef, cheese, bacon, and the seasonings.

  2. Split the mixture into four balls. Shape into patties and depress the middle to prevent shrinking of the burger.

  3. Cook in the grill or stovetop until your desired temperature.

  4. Serve on a toasted bun and place on your desired condiments.

For condiments I love to use Mayo, BBQ Sauce, Grilled Onions, and lettuce

There ya have it! The perfect burger recipe for you to celebrate national cheeseburger day! I hope that you enjoyed this yummy recipe, and share on our Facebook page your creations! You don't have to stuff/mix in just bacon you can create your own!

xoxo Backwoods Daisy
